Introduced in 2010, the Leaf was Nissan's first attempt as a massproduced electricpowered car for the American market. Its fivedoor hatchback shape is familiar enough to drivers of internalcombustion cars, and the Leaf has the smallest environmental footprint of any electric or hybrid. Although it's hampered by a fairly short range, the Leaf continues to evolve; later models feature automatic parking and a lane centering system, among other innovations. The Leaf is available in S, SL, SL Plus, SV and SV Plus trim levels.
