The Gladiator All Steel is a high speed trailer tire that's designed for use on the highway. A steel belted construction boosts strength and durability to promote a longer tread life, and the All Steel's tread compound boosts traction and lowers rolling resistance to enhance fuel efficiency.
Features & Benefits
- Designed for use on high speed trailers
- Steel belted construction boosts strength and stability for a longer tread life
- Tread compound enhances traction, resists weather cracking, and lowers rolling resistance to improve fuel efficiency
- Stone ejectors within the grooves force rocks, stones, and other debris out of the tire to protect the casing from damage
These tires are intended for trailer axles only, and can withstand long miles of in-line hauling. They're not meant for steering or drive axle applications, and their design offers years of reliable service in trailer applications. The maximum load carrying strength at the specified inflation pressure, also known as ply rating.
The side of the tire between the tread and rim, with cosmetic branding as well as information about the tire including manufacturer, model, size, etc.
Measured in 32nds of an inch, this metric shows how much tread life is left on a tire, with the tire's traction & stopping capabilities greatly diminished at 4/32nds and less. Tire manufacturers include "tire wear bars" at 2/32nds to indicate when your tire is worn out.
An identifier of a particular tire line and size combination assigned by the tire manufacturer.
Tread design (or tread pattern) can affect handling, traction & noise for different driving styles & road conditions.
