The Tornel AT-09 is an all terrain tire that's designed for use on Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs. A tough rubber compound works with an aggressive design for solid traction and enhance durability off road, and the AT-09's large footprint puts more rubber on the ground to enhance acceleration, braking, and traction on and off road while also reducing uneven wear for a longer tread life.
Features & Benefits
- Designed for use on Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs
- Rubber compound and aggressive tread pattern allow for solid traction and performance on and off road
- Optimized design reduces road noises for a quiet, comfortable ride
- Built with a large footprint that puts more rubber on the ground to enhance acceleration, braking, and traction
- Available in Outlined White Letter or Black sidewall depending on the tire's size
- Engineered with a strong polyester structure that increase strength for a higher load carrying capacity
All-terrain tires offer drivers traction on- and off-road, and are typically used by light truck and SUV drivers who want a tire that's able to climb rocks and perform on the highway.
Designed for use on light trucks and SUVs such as the Ram 1500, Ford F-150, and Chevrolet Silverado. Light Truck tires are strong enough to support a truck's heavier weight and whatever else is being hauled or towed.
This product is not covered by a manufacturer’s treadlife warranty.
The maximum carrying capacity for a tire determined by the manufacturer.
Maximum speed capability to safely carry a load for an extended period of time.
The maximum load carrying strength at the specified inflation pressure, also known as ply rating.
The side of the tire between the tread and rim, with cosmetic branding as well as information about the tire including manufacturer, model, size, etc.
Standards that measure treadwear, temperature resistance and traction, example: "640 A A". The 640 is the treadwear test and it lasted 6.4 times longer than the comparison tire tested against. The first "A" is the traction rating using straight-line wet traction on test surfaces (see information tables tab) and the second "A" is the temperature rating by testing operation at high speeds without heat-related failure (see information tables tab).
Wet Traction is a piece of the UTQG for example if UTQG is: 500 AA A, the wet traction piece is the second piece, the "AA".
An identifier of a particular tire line and size combination assigned by the tire manufacturer.
Tread design (or tread pattern) can affect handling, traction & noise for different driving styles & road conditions.
